What is it like having a Tipi wedding in the Winter? Pretty amazing actually! Winter weddings are dark at the best of times, and though we photographers have the equipment to cope with it, the lack of light does come with its own set of challenges. And yes, it was dark. And yes, it was freezing. But we needn’t have worried, because it was beautiful. Cosy, joyful, fun and so, so magical. Tipi had gorgeous roaring fire pits, a fantastic wedding breakfast, a huge dance floor and live band to entertain their guests.
Tipis are definitively unusual wedding venues and truly memorable. You have a multitude of choices of where to pitch your Tipi venue, many of which are stunningly beautiful surroundings. For example, in the woods (maybe Cheshire or Shropshire?), in the grounds of castle wedding venues, in the middle of the rolling countryside, a patch of land in the middle of a city.
The tipi was beautiful! Fairy lights everywhere and made the place look so magical. The evening just got better and better with the beer flowing and the dancing getting wilder, a perfect wedding, better than we imagined!
Laura and Phil are such a cute couple. Both of them are so detail orientated. They even made their own wedding cake (cheesecake) and personalised photo frame.
We must say that all the details during this wedding were on point.
After sparkles and first dance Dotty Vintage Ice cream van arrived, bringing retro style and great ice cream.
