Manchester has so much to offer. If you are looking for a historical location for your engagement, couple, or pre-wedding session, it's good to look at The University of Manchester.
Manchester University has a Harry Potter vibe. The building of the Manchester Museum was built in 1890, which makes this location very authentic.
We have shot several sessions around Manchester University. The campus looks different during autumn and spring. It is also a great location if you are shy and worries about people around (in the early morning is pretty empty).
Daisy and Benson decided to have the first part of their pre-wedding photos around Manchester University as this was the place where they first met and fallen in love with each other. We started our session quite late, to capture University during the golden hour. We had a beautiful light coming back from the main Manchester Museum building, and rain made it even more magical (you can see raindrops on some of the photos). We used our transparent umbrella as a little softbox, which gave photos a nice soft look.
